The classified elements zip file
This file is updated whenever I receive and process new observations.
The integrated tles elements zip file
This file is updated every day at 12 Noon and about 6 or 7 PM Central time. It contains
some tles from the classified file that have been integrated
to the present date using either the int2 or the int3 program.
- Here is a discussion of the methods used for this integration.
The integrated cogo tles elements zip file is no longer being generated.
The new cogo tles are in classfd.zip and they are integrated in inttles.zip.
The iridium comments page
This web page contains comments about which objects are assumed to be operational,
which are assumed to be spares, and which are known to be tumbling.
Current TLEs can be obtained from T. S. Kelso's web site

Names and data for objects that would be in the "mccants" file:

previSAT von ?? gelungenes grafisches Design unter Windows! (ähnlich gPredict). Leider kein Local-Zoom möglich.
und der absolute Hybride: Stellarium sowohl astronomisch als auch "satellitisch" veranlagt - und das als Donation-Ware!
Zu erwähnen wäre dann noch:
STSOrbit plus von David H. Ransom, Jr. († 5.11.2006) - ein DOS-Proggi mit orthografischer Darstellung der Erde (bei
celestrak.com downloadbar, V.0223) und
Mission Control Clock von Lawrence Baldwin, ebenfalls ein DOS-Proggi - zeigt nach NASA-MET-File auflaufende Events an (interessant zur Shuttle-Aera),
beides bis WinXP und später unter einem DOS-Emulator lauffähig.

Launch site: WALLOPS ISLAND (WLPIS) - Decay date: 2015-07-16; re-entry.
Black Knight 1 is a U.S. Military Academy payload developed at West Point and will test a passive two-axis attitude control system as well as an Earth imaging camera. The satellite was developed, build and integrated by Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Physics Departments at West Point. Launched as part of ORS-3: Link.
Do not mistake with the famous/mysterious "Black Knight"-Object:
ORIGIN:
Black Knight (deutsch Schwarzer Ritter) heißt ein angeblich existierender Satellit der Erde mit unbekannter Herkunft, über den in Verschwörungstheorien berichtet wird.[1] Ein im Dezember 1998 während der Mission STS-88 aufgenommenes Bild soll einen Beweis der Existenz des Satelliten liefern. Nach anderer Meinung handelt es sich um eine bei einer anderen Mission verloren gegangene Thermodecke[2] oder anderen Weltraumschrott.
Das Objekt wird von Anhängern der Prä-Astronautik häufig als Beweis für vergangene Besuche von Aliens angesehen.[3]
Es wird auch behauptet, dass von dem Objekt sogar geheimnisvolle Radiowellen ausgehen, was sich jedoch nicht eindeutig belegen lässt. Zudem wird der Satellit häufig auch mit einem angeblich 1955 explodierten UFO in Verbindung gebracht. Außerdem soll der Satellit bereits vor Beginn der irdischen Raumfahrt gesichtet worden sein.[3]
2015 wurde ein Drehbuch von James Frey unter der Regie von Jabbar Raisani mit David Oyelowo und Freida Pinto als Hauptdarstellern verfilmt.[4] Produzent des Promotionvideos mit dem Titel "Black Knight Decoded" waren die Pepsi Studios.
